MURPHY&NYE collection report spring/summer 2016

The new Murphy&Nye spring/summer 2016 collection impresses by its traditional sailor look, artfully combined with highly trendy details. All trouser fits appropriate to the respective target groups were optimized this season. The materials consist of light stretch denims, canvas, drill, as well as stretch gabardine, which are piece-dyed and have a soft feel due to their special finishing.

The navy and white color world is typical for Murphy&Nye’s sailor look, additionally enhanced by colors like red, green, royal blue and grey mélange. Tapered button-down shirts with a little Murphy&Nye logo at chest height are offered as linen, light denim, but also as classical Oxford variants. Allover printed, slim line poplin button-down shirts are new. Special highlights are details on the softly washed T-shirts, sweat shirts and hoodies, with prints and stitchings produced with elaborate techniques in order to gain a 3-dimensional visual appearance. The canvas motive is recurring throughout the entire collection. Moreover, trendy wording and flag applications are presented on T-shirts with round neckline, v-neckline and Henleys with little button border. Block stripe polo shirts made of heavy jersey and piqué fabrics must not be missing, of course. The offer of polo shirts is complemented by allover printed models.

The Key items of the collection are a royal blue jacquard cotton polar fleece blazer and a waistcoat, combinable with all other pieces of the collection. The collection offers a sporty alternative to this blazer by nylon cotton hoodies with denim jersey lining. Lightly padded waistcoats are some of the key items, as well.

The new Murphy&Nye collection impresses by a consequent offer of shapes, colors and fabrics, as well as with its love for details; all pieces are highly combinable with each other.

Delivery date of the Murphy&Nye collection is in January 2016. The sizes range from 104 to 170.
