Urban Circus

The festive jubilee atmosphere of the circus can be seen throughout the LOVE Kidswear AW16/17 collection. The spirit of the circus is visible in the color palette, as well as the lively star and splatter prints. The “Lea Cape,” with its button-front, arm slits and hood, in solid blue and star-print fabric, has playful design surprises, like many of the pieces in the collection. Folkloric inspirations can be seen in silhouettes like the“Balthasar blouse,” which is a modern interpretation of a Russian peasant blouse, or the “Coco blouse” which is a re-interpretation of a Trachtenbluse. Pockets and cuffs done in striped fabrics add the perfect finishing details to modern shapes.

ABOUT THE BRAND

LOVE kidswear is a collection of stylish casual childrens clothing for boys and girls between the ages of 0 and 10 years. Established in Munich in March 2015, by fashion designer Franziska Bergmiller, LOVE kidswear is comfortable, modern clothing made from sustainable materials using ethical labor practices.

A graduate of the “Deutsche Meisterschule für Mode,”Franziska worked at Vivienne Westwood in London designing several “Red Label” collections for the Japanese market. Becoming a mother inspired her to create clothing that allows kids the freedom to move and parents a selection of well-designed quality clothing for their little ones.High-end fabrics in a fresh palette of desaturated colors distinguishes LOVE kidswear from other brands, as does the unpretentious attitude of the clothes; playful and carefree, just like the children who wear them.

LOVE kidswear is made in Portugal under fair conditions and uses a selection of organic fabrics and non organic natural fibres.
